Past administrations and their legacies

From the founding of the chapter in 2021 to the digital era — the presidents who built NAPHS Al-Hikmah.

Usman Mahmoud Hassan, President (Founder), 2021/2022 session

2021/2022 session

Usman Mahmoud Hassan

President (Founder)

Recognised as the founder of NAPHS at Al-Hikmah University. Began as the first Vice President in 2021 and, after the one-semester appointed tenure of Rahamatu Emoga, assumed office as the second President — and the first elected President to fully lead and build the association.

  • Drafted and implemented the first NAPHS Constitution, which guided the association from inception.
  • Opened the official Wema Bank account, which remains the association's official account to date.
  • Designed and produced the first official executive identification tags.
  • Organised and hosted the first official NAPHS event in the history of the association.
  • Completed the first official registration and documentation of NAPHS with Al-Hikmah University.
  • Introduced the departmental association levy with an organised payment and receipt system.
  • Established administrative structures and operational procedures for sustainability.
  • Connected the chapter with the regional and national NAPHS bodies.
Serving as President and contributing to the establishment and growth of NAPHS remains one of the most fulfilling experiences of my university life. I am grateful to Allah for the opportunity to lay a solid foundation upon which successive administrations have continued to build.

  • Provided two printers and essential office stationery to improve administrative efficiency.
  • Organised a comprehensive student orientation programme alongside a World Cancer Day awareness campaign.
